The Ontario Clean Water Agency announced Rob Andrews as its new president on December 23, replacing outgoing president and CEO, Jane Pagel. In her three year tenure as president, Pagel led OCWA through a number of new businesses opportunities while also increasing international interest and forming new partnerships in the water sector.
“I know that the OCWA will be in good hands with Rob in charge,” Pagel said in a press release. “He is committed, as we all are at the OCWA, to continuing to provide the highest possible quality of service to our clients and deliver safe and efficient water and wastewater services to the people of Ontario.”
Andrews was recently the chief executive of global water at AECOM and has years of water-related business experience. He has overseen programs in North America, Asia, Australia, Europe, the Middle East, and Latin America.
“I’m very pleased that Rob has accepted the role of president,” said Michael Garrett, chair of OCWA’s board of directors. “His extensive industry experience will be of enormous value in moving the agency towards achieving its vision of becoming a trusted world leader in water.”
