On Wednesday, Assembly of First Nations national chief Phil Fontaine and Canadian Auto Workers union president Buzz Hargrove will visit the community of Little Salmon Carmacks to celebrate the work completed this summer by CAW volunteers.

This is the latest successful corporate partnership venture between CAW and the AFN. CAW volunteers worked over the summer with community members to resolve the community’s long standing issue of poor water quality in 85 individual community wells. To date, volunteers have completed work on 27 wells.
