International Water-Guard Industries Inc. (IWG), a Canadian aerospace company focusing on aircraft potable water treatment and full water system solutions, has announced that it will supply complete water system assemblies to Midcoast Aviation of Cahokia, IL.

“The extension of our relationship with Midcoast to the supply of complete water system assemblies is a vote of confidence in the capability of IWG as an aircraft system supplier,” said IWG president and CEO David C. Fox. “We have been supplying our water treatment units for several years. With our expanded engineering capabilities and AS9100 certification, progression to the system level was a natural for us.”

The assemblies or “pallets” are Midcoast’s own design. “Supporting a completion centre on a build-to-print basis is a new direction. With the current pressures on aircraft delivery, we are able to use our special water system expertise in supporting the completion industry to accelerate production,” says Fox.

Midcoast provides services that include maintenance; avionics; electrical and mechanical engineering; avionics design and integration; and interior design.

Initial deliveries will begin in early 2009.
