Eaux Vives Water Inc. will receive $1,631,600 in repayable funding under the Community Economic Diversification Initiative – Vitality to increase productivity.

This funding will enable the Saint-Mathieu-d’Harricana, Quebec firm to improve its competitiveness by acquiring specialized equipment and adding a new water bottling line. The project intends to generate an overall investment of $4.8 million and result in the creation of 35 new jobs and the maintenance of 45 existing positions, 35 of them in Saint-Mathieu-d’Harricana.

Eaux Vives Water bottles water from the Saint-Mathieu-Lac Berry esker and sells it under the brand name Eska. The addition of a new bottling line will allow the firm to offer new products derived from the processing of water and increase the production volumes of its current products.
