Walkerton, ON — The Walkerton Clean Water Centre (WCWC) is pleased to provide a hands-on workshop especially for the owners and operators of small drinking water systems defined under Ontario Regulation 170/03 and Ontario Regulation 319/08.
This popular workshop focusses on the operation and maintenance of small drinking water systems and has received positive feedback from past participants about the practical activities, “very great for hands-on exercises” and application to small water systems, “thank you for training which is relevant to my responsibilities under O. Reg. 170/03”.
Participants will rotate through the training modules, earning 0.6 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for Limited System operators or maintaining a Trained Person designation under Ontario Regulation 170/03. Planned modules include:
- Sampling, Testing, Adverse Test Results and Corrective Actions
- UV Disinfection and Maintenance
- Well Maintenance
The workshop will be held on November 2, 2022, in Huntsville, Ontario. The cost to register is $285.00 + HST.
