About The Project
THE $120 million water supply and distribution system project in Curve Lake addresses quantity and quality concerns regarding the community’s raw water supply. Studies concluded that the ground water is rife with quality issues and cannot meet current water demands. Forecasted growth in residential housing and in the reserve population by the year 2040 also makes it necessary to secure a stable and cost-effective water supply.
