Pomerleau acquires Groupe ALLEN

Pomerleau announced the completion of its acquisition of Groupe ALLEN, a Quebec-based general contractor that has specialized in water treatment, process mechanics, directional drilling, formwork, and earthworks for nearly 80 years.

“Recent collaborations between our organizations have confirmed not only the complementarity of our expertise, but also the alignment of our values, ways of working, and long-term ambitions,” said Philippe Adam, president and CEO, Pomerleau. “Together, we will be better positioned to meet the growing needs of communities and contribute to delivering the infrastructure Quebec will require in the decades ahead. Our objective remains to build on Groupe ALLEN’s strong foundations and support the next stage of its growth while preserving the strengths that have made it successful.”

The ALLEN Group is now a subsidiary of Pomerleau and will continue operating under its own name, with its existing leadership team and management remaining in place.

“Over the past several years, Groupe ALLEN has undergone a significant transformation that has strengthened its market position and created new opportunities for growth,” added Jean-Philippe Lefebvre, CEO, Groupe ALLEN. “Joining forces with Pomerleau is a natural continuation of this journey and will provide us with the means to accelerate the next phase of our development. We share the belief that sustainable growth is built on people, expertise, and trusted relationships developed over time. This transaction will also allow us to seize new opportunities while remaining true to our identity.”
