Ontario water companies have until January 31, 2014 to apply for new programs being launched by WaterTAP Ontario. Companies may apply in four categories:

  • Business Growth: Provides access to consultants specializing in strategic business development to develop and fine-tune growth.
  • Executive Education and Membership: Supports executive education and membership in executive organizations to enable leaders of water technology companies to develop cutting-edge business practices with their peers.
  • Branding Guidelines: Supports the development of messaging and a visual identity for a consistent look and feel across presentations, web content, produce labeling, brochures, letterhead, etc.
  • Proposals: Helps otherwise qualified companies develop bid responses and sales proposals that will increase their new contract win rates.

WaterTAP will contribute 75 per cent of the cost of each program.

“As we talk and work with water technology companies across the province, we see some consistent themes,” said WaterTAP CEO Brian Mergelas. “Companies grow stronger and faster with well-defined strategies, business know-how and active networks, unified marketing communications and sales, and bid proposal capabilities. These programs represent practical approaches to help companies acquire these success requirements.”
