Ontario’s Township of Centre Wellington will receive funds for source water protection via the federal Infrastructure Stimulus Fund.

Support of up to $1.8 million will be devoted to improve municipal water and sanitary sewer systems, as well as to support the reconstruction of a sideroad. The Township of Centre Wellington will match the contribution.

“We are very pleased that the federal government is providing funding towards the cost of this important project,” said Mayor Ross-Zuj. “It will help the Township to improve its roads, water and sewer infrastructure.”
