About The Project

REHABILITATION OF the Lindsay Water Treatment Plant and replace ment of watermains on Lindsay Street and King Street will improve access to potable water by increasing the reliability and efficiency of the water treatment infrastructure in the area.

The scope of work, being done by Bennett Construction Group, includes:

Draining and Relocating Sludge in Lagoon 3; construction of new berms; installation of new
metering chamber; installation of new WAS pumps, and reconfiguration of existing WAS and RAS piping; installation of new RAS forcemain to new aeration tank inlet distribution chamber; installation of new WAS forcemain to Lagoon 2; installation of new chemical (Alum) lines to aeration tank effluent channel; installation of submersible mixers complete with fine bubble diffusers; cast in place construction of new Aeration Tanks; construction of new blower building, installation of turbo blower and associated piping; installation of launders covers for secondary clarifiers; and supply, installation and commissioning of all associated mechanical, electrical and SCADA components.
