About The Project
TO MEET wastewater servicing needs through 2031, Halton is moving forward with an expansion of the MidHalton Wastewater Treatment Plant, increasing capacity from 125 million litres per day to 195 million litres per day. This $304-million investment will support planned growth in Georgetown, Milton, and Oakville, ensuring the system can reliably serve existing and new homes and businesses.
The Municipal Class Environmental Assessment is currently underway, advancing design planning and confirming the best approach to strengthen this critical regional infrastructure.
