Stantec has announced the appointment of Geneviève (Gen) Roy as the new Business Center Practice Lead for Water in Ontario North and East. Based in the firm’s Ottawa office, Gen brings an impressive and diverse portfolio of experience to the role.
Her career spans international project delivery and leadership, including landfill biogas extraction projects in Montreal, Alliance project work in Australia, and a significant leadership role with a major industry competitor. Most recently, she served as Global Trade Director – Infrastructure at Export Development Canada (EDC), where she led infrastructure initiatives on a global scale.
This broad background equips her with a strategic mindset and global perspective that aligns with Stantec’s vision for innovation and integrated project delivery. Known for her dynamic energy and collaborative leadership, Gen is expected to play a key role in advancing the firm’s water practice in the region.
