Water Canada will be providing some exclusive Canadian content on the show floor at WEFTEC 2019, to be held at McCormick Place in Chicago, Illinois from September 21 to 25.

The Canadian CEO Roundtable is an exclusive discussion being held as part of the Global Center Program at WEFTEC. The panel has been organized by Water Canada, in cooperation with the Consulate General of Canada in Chicago. The Chicago post is working in conjunction with the Trade Commissioner Service, of which 19 posts from the U.S., Americas, Singapore, and London will be attending the Canada @WEFTEC program with their individual water technology buyers.

The 2019 Canadian CEO Panel will feature an expert discussion focused on the digital future of water. As digitization continues to change the way water and wastewater utilities collect and analyze data, this session will provide Canadian examples of how digitization is helping utilities find operational efficiencies, effectively manage water infrastructure assets, and improve the quality of our water systems.

The panel will be led by Water Canada Managing Editor Andrew Macklin, and will feature four of Canada’s top thought leaders in the field:

  • Jodi Glover, CEO of Real Tech.
  • Ed Quilty, CEO of Aquatic Informatics.
  • Benoit Beaudoin, president of Maid Labs Technologies.
  • Mohamad Vedut, co-founder and COO of Emagin.

The roundtable will take place on Tuesday, September 24 from 1:00-2:00pm at the Global Center in WEF Plaza, South Hall A. If you are unable to attend the discussion, but want to learn about the dialogue that took place, Water Canada will present a full-length feature article about the roundtable in its November/December edition.

For more information about the topics for discussion, the panelists, or the content to be created following the discussion, please reach out to Andrew via email at [email protected].
