According to a Canada.com report, Edmonton-based Seair Inc. has won approval for a two-month trial of its gas-diffusion technology at a wastewater treatment plant in Ramos Ariszpe, Mexico. The trial will test Seair’s technology by diffusing pure oxygen into one of three aeration reactor tanks at the Fersina treatment plant.
“Upon successful completion of the trial, we expect the combination of higher dissolved oxygen levels and lowering operating costs to be a compelling global story for the municipal waste-water treatment industry,” Seair’s president and CEO Harold Kinasewich said.
