CHESTERVILLE, Ont – A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on September 5 to mark the opening of Chesterville’s new water treatment facility. The facility, now operational, includes an additional storage reservoir designed to support the community’s growth over the next 20 years, as well as a filtration system to reduce manganese levels in the drinking water.

The project was completed with the help of general contractor Louis W. Bray Construction Limited and consulting firm J.L. Richards. Mayor Tony Fraser, along with representatives from Louis W. Bray, J.L. Richards, OCWA, and the Township of North Dundas, attended the event to celebrate the successful completion of this essential infrastructure project.
