Ontario-based Boshart Industries has acquired Flomatic Corporation in a share purchase transaction from Watts Water Technologies, Inc. The sale excludes the backflow product line of Flomatic Corporation, which was retained by Watts. Flomatic Corporation is based in Glens Falls, NY and has manufactured valve products for water and wastewater for over 80 years.
Boshart Industries, who has been in business for over 55 years, supplies the plumbing and water well markets in North America.
No changes are anticipated in the management of either Boshart or Flomatic operations.
