About The Project

THE SECOND phase of a multi-year upgrade and expansion of the City of Brandon’s municipal water treatment facility began with the start of construction in October, 2025 of a dedicated membrane building connected to the existing water treatment facility at 108 – 26th St. N. This follows the successful completion of phase one of the upgrade: the Chemical Building construction in 2022.

Construction over the next four years will include: a new membrane building complete with a dual-membrane process, using both ultra- and nano-filtration, to treat water; a new electrical substation; additional treated water storage; underground piping; and connections to existing equipment both inside and outside the facility.

Project Owner: City of Brandon

Contractor: NAC Constructors Ltd.
