By supporting concrete projects on the ground, we are actively contributing to the vitality of marine ecosystems while supporting the communities that ensure their preservation on a daily basis.,” provincial minister of economy, innovation and energy and minister of labour Jean Boulet said.
“The St. Lawrence Action Fund (SLAF) is proud to administer the St. Lawrence and Tributaries Marine Biodiversity Program , a key initiative for the resilience of our river and its aquatic habitats. We thank the Government of Quebec for its confidence, which will allow us to support numerous field organizations in their efforts to restore St. Lawrence habitats. By targeting these essential ecosystems, the program acts directly to improve biodiversity and promote the long-term health of our river,” SLAF executive director Frédéric de Beaumont added.
