Joel Melanson has joined Metro Vancouver as Director of Engineering, Design and Construction for Water Services.

Saba Khan is now a Freshwater Policy Fellow at Canada Water Agency.

Indra Maharjan, P.Eng., MBS has joined the Region of Peel’s Wastewater Management Division as Manager, Program Development.

Chris Low has joined Veolia‘s Water Technologies as Executive Vice President of North America.

David Donovan and Christopher Hilkene have joined the Ontario Clean Water Agency’s board of directors.

Nicholson Jeke, PhD. has started a new position as the National Sustainability Lead – Green Infrastructure at Ducks Unlimited.

Anneky Zonena will take on a new role as Director, Waterfront Secretariat for the City of Toronto starting March 2026.

The Raisin Region Conservation Authority‘s (RRCA) Board of Directors elected North Glengarry Councillor-at-Large Jacques Massie as its new chair during the conservation authoritys annual meeting on Feb. 5. South Stormont Deputy Mayor Andrew Guindon was elected as vice-chair. Both were acclaimed to the one-year term positions.

Benoit Baudry has been appointed as the new CEO of Artelia Canada. Baudry has over 30 years experience within the Artelia Group and has managed large teams and projects in the transport, infrastructure, and large industrial facilities sectors.

Englobe has appointed Renée Smith, P.Eng. as Senior Director, Hydropower. Smith has worked in the fields of electrical system planning, regulatory strategy, and stakeholder engagement. She previously worked in a leadership position at Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro and holds both a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) from Memorial University and an MBA from Dalhousie University.

Kenneth Brothers is joining the Region of Waterloo on an interim basis as the Interim Commissioner of Water Services and Wastewater Operations. Brothers is a Fellow of the International Water Association, has held senior leadership positions in various municipalities across Ontario and was the Chair of the Regional Public Works Commissioners of Ontario (RPWCO).

Melissa Haresign is the new Department Head of KGS Group’s Winnipeg Water Resources Department. Haresign has been at KGS Group since 2012 and focused on various aspects of water resources engineering, particularly in hydro and dam projects.
