TORONTO, ON — Actual Media Inc. is pleased to announce the expansion of John Tenpenny’s role to lead both Water Canada and ReNew Canada magazines as Editor. Tenpenny will now oversee the editorial strategy, vision, and execution for both leading publications, guiding their engagement with the infrastructure and water sectors across Canada.
Tenpenny will continue his leadership role at ReNew Canada, overseeing all editorial functions, including the Top100 Projects database and annual report. In his expanded capacity, he will provide editorial oversight and guidance to the Associate Editor of Water Canada, ensuring features and assignments reflect the magazine’s four core editorial pillars: stormwater, wastewater, drinking water, and conservation. He will also play a leadership role in initiatives such as the Water Canada Awards and the Downstream networking program.
“This expanded role reflects John’s proven contributions and leadership in the industry,” said Corinne Lynds, Vice President of Content & Partnerships. “We trust in his experience and professionalism to guide both publications’ editorial direction and strengthen our commitment to delivering high-quality content that serves the needs of our readership and industry stakeholders.”
Tenpenny takes over the editorial leadership of Water Canada from Corinne Lynds, who will continue to play a pivotal role in the publication’s industry engagement and events in her capacity as Vice President of Content & Partnerships. Lynds will step away from the day-to-day magazine production to focus on strategic partnerships and content initiatives across Actual Media Inc.
In his dual capacity, John Tenpenny will work closely with the design, marketing, production, and sales teams, and will represent both Water Canada and ReNew Canada at key conferences, webinars, and industry events.
Congratulations John!
